Cadillac unveils up-to-date crest for 2014
Cadillac has revealed a brand new badge, that will first show up on the CTS and ATS coupe models.
The brand new crest, revealed in the Detroit motor show, will begin showing up on Cadillac automobiles within the other half of the year.
Cadillac states the brand new badge is definitely an evolution of their previous design, and it is sleeker and much more streamlined than historic versions from the badge. Probably the most significant changes is removing the wreath element, which formerly encircled the central shield.
The look continues to be seen before, because it made an appearance around the Emiraj concept this past year. Before this redesign, the Cadillac crest was last up-to-date in 1999.
Executive design director Andrew Cruz stated: “This new crest matches the low, longer, leaner mantra in our current vehicle designs, and reflects the evolution in our Science and art philosophy.”
Cadillac states it’s made the decision to update its emblem to celebrate a 22 percent sales increase in america in 2013.
